Using its rotating arm and adjusting slot, the tensioner permits easy, accurately controlled tensioning at any point on a 360-degree arc, thereby increasing the efficiency and smoothness of operation in chain and belt drives. Other included features are a serrated pad to prevent slippage and a two-bolt mounting base for easy adaptability to most machine frames.
