5/8” pitch connecting link for a double-strand chain that eliminates the “weak” link, providing the same fatigue strength as the base chain. The ring-coined link has higher tensile strength for superior impact resistance, heat treatment to achieve ideal hardness, and shot-peening to provide greater fatigue strength. Lastly, pre-stressing minimizes initial elongation and time-consuming adjustments.
